Annual report 2012

Family-Friendly Company certificate

With the successful implementation of 15 measures selected in the scope of the basic Family-Friendly certificate, Telekom Slovenije received a full certificate. The measures were well received by employees, as reflected in the organisational climate. Activities in the scope of the full certificate continued with the selection of six new measures for the next three-year period. These measures will help the Company improve its best practices in dealing with employees in terms of work-life balance. The new measures touch on different areas relating to employees’ work at the Company, and represent part of the values of the business policy and organisational culture. The Family-Friendly certificate is treated as an investment that brings positive results to both the Company and employees.

Parental leave

Telekom Slovenije monitors the use of parental leave in the scope of the aforementioned certificate. Employees with the right to parental leave exercise that right in full. Men also opted to exercise their right to parental leave in 2012, but that decision is made primarily by women. Of the 183 employees who were on parental leave from Telekom Slovenije Group companies in 2012, 115 were at companies inSlovenia. Of those, all but one, who left the Company, returned to the workplace.
